Texas Statutory Maximum Notary Fees
At DNS Notary LLC, we provide transparent, professional notary services throughout the San Antonio area. All our fees comply with Texas state regulations, and we never exceed the statutory maximum amounts allowed by law. Below you’ll find our complete fee schedule, including state-mandated notarial fees and additional service charges for mobile notary, Remote Online Notarization (RON), and loan signing services.
These are the maximum notarial fees allowed under Texas Government Code and as set by the Texas Secretary of State. DNS Notary does not exceed these statutory amounts.
Taking the acknowledgment or proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal:
- First Signature: $10
- Each Additional Signature: $1
Administering an oath or affirmation with certificate and seal: $10
Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal: $4
Each notice of protest: $1
Protesting in all other cases: $4
Certificates and seal to a protest: $4
Swearing a witness to a deposition, certificate, seal, and other business connected with taking the deposition: $10
Taking the depositions of witnesses, for each 100 words: $1
All certificates under seal not otherwise provided for: $10
All notarial acts not provided for: $10
Copies of all records and papers in the Notary Public’s office, for each page: $1
Digital Notarization (digital certificate and electronic seal): $25
